If you are going to be doing any training you will want to have a good heart rate monitor.  A heart rate monitor will give you immediate feedback during your workout so that you will know whether you are pushing too hard or not hard enough.  Training within your target heart rate zone is critical to achieving results and you will need to monitor your heart during exercise in order to determine whether or not you are in your target heart rate zone.

I have used the Timex T5J031 Digital Fitness Heart Rate Monitor Watch for years now and have loved it!  It’s inexpensive and it does what it’s supposed to do.  I know that it can stand up to some punishment because I’ve put it to the test over the years.  I suggest trying this heart rate monitor if you are serious about exercising and getting into great shape.
