The Marine Corps CFT (combat fitness test) is a fitness test used by the Marine Corps to test a Marine's readiness for the physical demands of the battlefield. It is designed to test a Marine's physical readiness for combat operations.
The CFT consists of 3 different exercises.
- Move to Contact - An 800 yard run in boots and cammies that must be done in as little time as possible.
- Maneuver Under Fire - A 300 yard run that simulates a series of combat events.
- Ammo Lift - Marines are timed for 2 minutes and must lift 30 pound ammo can over their head as many times as possible.
The CFT is administered twice per year and is taken in addition to the PFT. Use our CFT calculator below to find your score.
