Learning proper eating habits is very important if you would like to live a life full of health & happiness.  Many people are unaware of just how bad they are treating their bodies by maintaining unhealthy eating habits.  In today’s world, it is hard to know what is going into your body with everything you eat due to fact that most processed foods contain ingredients that are hard to pronounce, much less understand.


If you focus on the basics, you can’t go wrong:

2. Never miss a meal – When you miss a meal, your metabolism slows in an effort to conserve any food you have eaten.  Calories will also be stored as fat more easily.  NEVER MISS A MEAL.

3. Eat 5 – 6 smaller meals per day – Doing this actually increases your metabolic rate, making it easier to burn calories.  It also keeps your blood sugar regulated.

4. Eat less saturated fat – 1 gram of fat contains 9 calories, more than twice the calories contained in a gram of protien or a gram of carbohydrates.  By eating less fat, you will automatically be taking in less calories.

Don’t try to look for gimmicks when learning how to eat properly, just focus on the basics.  There is no need to go overboard when changing your eating habits.
